NORWEGIAN SOCIETY OF PUBLIC HEALTH
Summary
The Norwegian Society of Public Health (NFSH) is an interdisciplinary organisation promoting public health through research, training, policy development and practice. We focus on lifestyle, healthy environment and alleviating inequalities in health.
NFSH is a member of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) and the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA).
The Norwegian Society of Public Health was founded in 1998
and has over 200 members who receive the European Journal of Public
Health four times a year and the Scandinavian Journal of Public
Health six times a year. Each year we organise a seminar that
focuses on current issues concerning public health. In 2000 EUPHA
entrusted us with organising its 12th
European conference in Oslo in October 2004.
